Updated: Dec 2, 2021

Have a question? Drop us a line, we might just write a blog post about it. In the meantime, we thought we would share some of our most frequently asked questions.

Question: Where do most On the Rocks trips take place?

Most On the Rocks climbing courses will take place at Rattlesnake Point or Metcalfe Rock, two of the many beautiful limestone cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment, Ontario.

Metcalfe Rock

Metcalfe Rock is an outcrop of the Niagara Escarpment located just outside of Collingwood, Ontario. This limestone cliff reaches heights of over 100ft in sections and offers climbing routes of all grades and styles. A short approach, beautiful views, a variety of trails and caves, old growth cedars and a natural fed spring, make Metcalfe Rock a must-see spot for any lover of the outdoors. On the Rocks Climbing Guides are proud to call Metcalfe one of their "offices" from May through October.

Select "Book Now" on any course page to reach our bookings page. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. Email info@ontherocksclimbing.com with any questions about booking. The Anchor Building Course usually runs rain or shine. Question: What if I am under 18? You and your parent/guardian will need to sign a waiver in advance. Question: What is the youngest age you can take out on the rocks? 7 years old is the usual age limit for all On the Rocks trips and courses.
